Sumatran tiger Portrait from the Wild Animal Park in San Diego Southern California. All tigers have their own unique strip pattern. Sumatran tigers are the smallest sub-species and can weigh up to 140kg. They have webbed toes that make them very powerful swimmers. They are found by ponds, streams and rivers ready to ambush their prey. Sumatran tigers are found on the Indonesian Island of Sumatra.
